Rosalind trained as a social worker and, as a probation officer, was active in trying to solve the housing problems of her clients. Subsequently, she trained with the Housing Corporation and has worked for housing associations ever since. She currently works freelance for housing associations and other housing related organisations and also as a business mentor. She is an affiliate housing inspector with the Audit Commission. Rosalind has a BA Social Sciences and a MA Social Studies and CQSW, she is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing. She is a non-executive Director of B&NES Primary Care Trust and a member of the Local Strategic Partnership for B&NES. Having been born in Liverpool, Rosalind is a keen supporter of Liverpool Football Club and also likes to play the Flute in her spare time.
