Rok - latest information

Westlea has now received information from Rok, and it would seem that Rok is not in a position to continue with the Planned Maintenance contract. To ensure disruption to our residents is minimised, we have two other contractors in place to complete the works that Rok started. If you live in one of the properties where Rok had already started work, one of the Planned Maintenance team will contact you to arrange for the completion of works with another contractor. If you have not had any contact from the Planned Maintenance Team, please contact us on 01249 466125.

For all other properties that are waiting for the bathrooms to be started, Westlea is working on a way forward to try to reach a satisfactory outcome for our residents. We are hoping to have a decision within the next few days on the way forward. The Building Contractor Rok has applied to go into administration. They had been carrying out bathroom refurbishments and Planned Maintenance work for Westlea. They will not be carrying out any work until further notice and we apologise to any residents who may have half finished work or who may have been preparing their home in readiness for work to start.

We will be contacting all residents where work has started to ensure that inconvenience is kept to a minimum, and we will continue to update residents through this website as the situation progresses.
