New Residents' Business Plan launched

Residents Forum Annual General Meeting

Part of a packed Residents Forum Annual General Meeting saw the launch of the new Residents' Business Plan.

The enjoyable event at the Pound Centre, Corsham on Friday 1 April was attended by over 50 residents who watched '19 Free', a film presentation by Kandu Arts, then watched a presentation by Derek Cash, Chair of the Westlea Board of Management, and Angie Clapp, Board Member.

Next up was the Forum Annual Report given by Josie Owens, Chair of the Residents' Forum, who outlined the work of the Residents' Forum, their achievements since the last AGM, and looked briefly at what the future holds.

Evelyn Crossman, Finance Officer of the Residents' Funding Group & 250 Club gave an update report on the success of recent projects

The Residents' Business Plan 2012 was launched by the Residents' Business Plan Working Group. Full details of this new document can be found here.

"While new officers were elected, residents attending the meeting ate lunch and had great fun playing bowls," said Terri Yewkins, from Westlea's neighbourhood involvement team.
