Redland Dog Day a great success

Redland Dog Day

Thank you to everyone who attended the Fun Dog Day in Redland area on Friday 15 April.

A big thank you also goes to Jollyes for judging and donating prizes to the winners of the dog show.

A total of £55 was raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

During the afternoon there was plenty of advice and information to keep everyone's dog happy. In addition, there was a police dog handler, someone from guide dogs for the blind, refreshments, a Westlea stand, and more.

The competition categories included:

  • handsomest dog
  • prettiest bitch
  • most like owner
  • waggiest tail
  • best six legs (two of which had to be human)
  • best junior handler (for children 14 and under with parents' permission.
