Your communities boards

Your communities boards

Your chance to get involved with GreenSquare's work and make a difference in your community.

In the Summer edition of Citizens and Down Your Way Magazine we told you about our proposals to combine OCHA, Westlea, and Greensquare into one organisation with one overall Management Board and three new Communities Boards.

See pages 7 - 9 here.

We are now looking to recruit residents to our three Communities Boards - Avon, Isis, and Marden. This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic residents to join some of our existing Board members to help get these new Boards up and running. You will be working with the local community to identify what changes you need for your area and working together to ensure these are delivered; making decisions about how community investment and estate improvement funding is spent in your area as well as monitoring overall spending and flagging any concerns to the GreenSquare Board; you will take part in an annual process for setting the overall budget for your area as well identifying community priorities and contributing to the development plan for your area. Would this be of interest to you?
