Westlea's Jargeau Court blooming success

Jargeau Court in Bloom

As part of the Britain in Bloom campaign, Corsham has run its own competition, and Jargeau Court came second in the Best Flats or Communal Residence section.

Jargeau Court resident Dennis Witt (pictured above) works extremely hard in the garden nearly every day, bedding plants, weeding, and keeping everything up together. Neighbourhood Services' Claire Hughes said: "Dennis does a sterling job and the Jargeau social fund supports him with plants and anything he might need".

Pleased with this year's success, Dennis laughingly said: "I was third last year, second this year, so watch out next year!" Dennis really enjoys the time he spends in the garden, and the results are magnificent.

Corsham in Bloom is a very sought after award by all Corsham residents, and standards are always very high to get this award. Well done Dennis - and we'll be watching out next year!
