Court order against Penhill man

Westlea's antisocial behaviour team has gained an injunction against an outrageous Penhill resident.
Residents of Milston Avenue, Penhill, Swindon have recently had their lives made hell because of the behaviour of their neighbour, 21-year-old Daniel Robertson at number 43. Robertson was responsible for repeated loud shouting and banging, the screeching of cars and motorbikes in the street, rubbish and other mess around his property, objects being thrown into his neighbours gardens, breeding Staffordshire-type dogs at the property, people coming and going throughout the night, smoke flares being set off, copper wiring being delivered and stripped in the back garden.
Despite repeated warnings by Sue Burnett of Westlea's antisocial behaviour team, Robertson failed to curb his outrageous behaviour. As a direct consequence, an antisocial behaviour injunction was requested by Westlea Housing and issued at Swindon County Court on 5 August. This forbids him (whether by himself or by instructing or encouraging any other person from):
- Using or threatening violence against any resident of or lawful visitor to Milston Avenue or the locality.
- Engaging in conduct causing or likely to cause a nuisance or annoyance to persons residing in or lawfully visiting Milston Avenue or the locality.
- Storing or handling stolen goods in the property or the garden of 43 Milston Avenue
- Contacting or attempting to contact in any way, any of the residents of Milston Avenue
- Having more than two visitors at any time inside 43 Milston Avenue.
Sue Burnett explained: "There is a power of arrest on all these points. Westlea always takes antisocial behaviour seriously, and our robust approach for dealing with such complaints, designed in conjunction with residents, means we have a good track record of taking action and positive results."
