A guest room is provided for use by visiting friends or relatives.

The Wharf is situated close to Calne town centre and opposite the library; there is a regular bus service to the town. A doctors’ surgery is situated next door to the scheme, with a chemist nearby. The Wharf is also served by deliveries of milk, post and newspapers and a postal collection.
