Supported housing


Westlea Housing Association is a charitable Registered Social Landlord providing housing and support services.

We are committed to providing support to enable individuals to live independently in the community.

We provide housing with support for various groups of people, including:

• Homeless families with support needs
• Women at risk from domestic violence
• Teenage parents.

The services provide housing-related support, which may take the form of any of the following:

• Help with managing money
• Help in dealing with debt or rent arrears
• Help to fill in forms / benefit entitlement
• Help to access other services
• Help in dealing with difficult situations
• Help in setting up home.



 

Who can apply?

Each of our Supported Housing schemes has its own criteria regarding who can apply to live there. Application processes vary.

  • Women's refuge - for women, with or without children, who are fleeing abuse.
  • Domestic violence - How we can help if you are being threatened or abused by a relative or partner.
  • Newburn House- Accommodation for 16-24 year old women who are pregnant or have one young child.
  • Community4 - Providing floating support throughout Wiltshire to help people take up a new home or stay in their current one.
  • Over-55s accommodation & services - Support services for older people.
  • Temporary accommodation - For families referred to us through the housing teams at Wiltshire Council.
